HOUSTON, TX and ALMATY, KAZAKHSTAN — COLOSSUS GROUP Corporation, a global technical consulting and upstream technology leader, announced today that it has been awarded a major contract by BNB Munai to execute comprehensive Field Development Plans (FDPs) for four major hydrocarbon fields—Aksaz, Dolinnoe, Emir, and Kariman—located in the prolific Mangyshlak Basin of Western Kazakhstan.
Under the terms of the agreement, COLOSSUS GROUP will deliver end-to-end technical evaluation and integrated reservoir management workflows tailored to maximize ultimate recovery and optimize field development strategies across the four production contracts.
The comprehensive engineering and geoscience scope awarded to COLOSSUS GROUP includes, but is not limited to:

Advanced Geophysical Interpretation: Detailed structural and stratigraphic mapping to resolve complex subsurface structures.

Integrated Geologic Modeling: High-resolution 3D static reservoir modeling incorporating structural, petrophysical, and depositional frameworks.

Dynamic Reservoir Simulation: State-of-the-art numerical simulation to predict fluid behavior, evaluate displacement mechanisms, and optimize well placements.

Production Engineering & Management: Tailored well completion designs, artificial lift optimization, and surface facility integration.

Production Forecasting & Field Optimization: Long-term rate forecasting and economic risk analysis to drive sustainable field monetization.
